And let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them

וְעָ֥שׂוּ לִ֖י מִקְדָּ֑שׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכָֽם

Our weekly services are deep and meaningful, yet joyful and inspiring. There is poetry. There is song. There is prayer.

How do we pray?

Prayer at Shir Shalom is not a spectator sport. Whether in English, Hebrew, silence, or images, we engage together in prayers of hope and healing.

Although it doesn’t always come easily, prayer changes the way we live our lives. To pray is to live our life in service, in justice, and in hope. Each of our lives is itself a prayer.
